Information Collection and Use 
LongShot Software is the sole owner of the information collected on this site. We will not sell, share, or rent this information to others in ways different from what is disclosed in this statement. LongShot Software collects information from our users at several different points on our website.
 
Order
We request information from the user on our order form. Here a user must provide contact information (like name and shipping address) and financial information (like credit card number, expiration date). This information is used for billing purposes and to fill customer's orders. If we have trouble processing an order, this contact information is used to get in touch with the user.
 
Cookies
A cookie is a piece of data stored on the user's hard drive containing information about the user. Usage of a cookie is in no way linked to any personally identifiable information while on our site. Some of our business partners use cookies on our site (for example, advertisers). However, we have no access to or control over these cookies.

This website takes every precaution to protect our users' information. When users submit sensitive information via the website, your information is protected both online and off-line. When our registration/order form asks users to enter sensitive information (such as credit card number), that information is encrypted and is protected with SSL. 
 
Pricing Policy
 
LongshotSoftware.com pricing reflects the competitive nature of the I.T. industry and therefore is carefully monitored us to provide our customers with the latest, competitive prices. All of our prices are in Australian dollars (AUD) and include GST (Goods and services tax). Product prices are subject to change at any time and generally reflect changes to market conditions and/or exchange rate fluctuations. For any products marked as 'Pre-Order', 'Order-In' or out of stock, prices may change between when you place your order and when the actual product becomes available. LongShot Software will try to absorb any price differences when possible, but if this is not economically possible will have to pass the price variation on.
 
Warranty & Returns Policy
 
Returning Product for Service or Replacement
 
All costs incurred in returning the product to us for repair, replacement or credit are your responsibility.
Warranty on all equipment and/or software will be the manufacturers warranty and at the manufacturers discretion.
It is your responsibility to ensure that all products are suitably packaged in order to prevent damage during return shipping. You must not write on or attach labels to the product being returned. Padded post bags are not considered adequate packaging unless the product is inside a box is the bag
We accept no responsibility for goods lost in transit. It is your responsibility to insure them.
We will not accept goods sent to us as receiver pays (unless authorized by us).
 
Returning Product for Credit or Refund
 
Software is non-refundable once opened, and in the case of Downloaded Software, once downloaded.
Please check the specifications and compatibility of the products being ordered to ensure they are what you require and that they will operate on your systems as we do not supply goods on a trial basis.
We are happy to advise on the compatibility or suitability of the equipment being purchased. We cannot, however, guarantee that it will work in your system and we take no responsibility that it will meet your requirements.
We do not refund or credit for incorrect choice. (Some exceptions to this rule are made on a case by case basis.)
Items that are being returned for credit MUST be unopened in their original undamaged / unmarked packaging, and will incur a restocking fee of a minimum of 10%. NO credit is available for any freight paid.
Items being returned for credit for "incorrect choice" are returned for credit or replacement only, refunds are not available in this case. This credit will be based on the lesser of the original purchase price and the current price when we receive the product back.
No goods will be accepted for refund or credit after 14 days from the date of invoice.

General Conditions
 
We reserve the right to refuse any returns that: -
are incomplete or missing parts; or
are not returned in their original packaging,
show signs of physical damage to the product or its packaging. 
If you receive a product that appears to have been "Damaged in Transit" - that is, damaged in transit from us to you - you should:-
Refuse to accept delivery of the product.
Direct the courier to "Return goods to sender".
Notify our Customer Service staff immediately.
Events such as wilful damage, misuse, unauthorised repair or tampering with a product may prevent a product being accepted for return or warranty repair or replacement.
 
 Website Usage Policy
 
The LongshotSoftware.com web site and all content contained within is for use by its customers only, any form of data retrieval or 'hot linking' of images is forbidden unless being processed by a recognised search engine or with prior approval.
